Miranda July, a performance artist, singer, and the director of the independent film ME AND YOU AND EVERYONE WE KNOW, turns her abundant talents towards the short story in her first collection. In one story, a young woman is treated shabbily by her professor and then attempts to seduce a teenager with learning disabilities. In another, a woman fantasizes about her epileptic Korean neighbor.
